Comin' Home ~
Brett and Jack explore this Earl Hagan classic, beginning with inquisitive, musical meanderings that coalesce into the more familiar form.
Corazon Espinado ~
Rich and Brett offer a sophisticated interpretation of this Santana tune that resonantes with the passion of a "Pierced Heart."
Indian Summer ~
Jack's treatment of this Chris Botti original is reminiscent of spending a relaxing day in the park sipping a chilled savignon blanc.
Love TKO ~
Most often associated with R&B superstar Teddy Pendergrass, Morgan's interpretation is soulful and feminine. Her mellow approach is contemporary with a touch of blues.
Midnight Motion ~
Many people associate Kenny "G" witht the soprano saxophone, and rightfully so. Brett takes us a little deeper into the genre with one of Kenny's tenor saxophone selections.
Music To Watch Girls By ~
A favorite pasttime of the members of Late Harvest Jazz! We pay homage to one of the most popular hits by trumpeter Al Hirt. Unpretentious, unadulterated fun!
Retro Boy ~
He might not have zebra stripes on his saxophone, but Brett still finds a way to free his funk by leading the rest of the horns through this unctuous Richard Elliot tune. Brett's raw, organic tenor sax sound lashes out with a robust thirst for the groove and refuses to relinquish its hold.
Slow Jam ~
Take a sensuous journey of limitless tenor sax improvisation with Brett as explores the lines and curves hidden deep within this Euge Groove melody.
Soulful Strut ~
Every smooth jazz set list should include something by Grover Washington Jr. In the Late Harvest Jazz interpretation, Brett infuses a touch of wistfullness into his already fluid soprano styling.
Sweeter By The Moment ~
Similar to a late harvest zinfandel, the essence of this Late Harvest Jazz original lies in a dulcet refrain that progresses toward a lucious, oppulent finish.
What Cha' Gonna Do For Me ~
When Morgan asks, you better answer. Her rendition of Chaka Khan's hit is all soulful sass, sexy phrasing and attitude.
Turn Your Love Around ~
Dean, Jack and Rich lay down the buttery background to this quintessential George Benson standard while Brett satisfies the listener with a light, crisp soprano.
Veráo ~
Local jazz pianist Dave Ihlenfeld composed this enchanting melody to emulate the dreamy quality of a Portugese summer. The lush, oakey character of Jack's flugel playing exquisitely compliments Brett's effervescent soprano solo.
